ABOUT

“Everyone has a story. Everyone is unique. Take time to hear another’s heartbeat, and you will hear the rhythm of their story — It's up to you to tell it respectfully.”
Ava Blu Wilson is a creative writer who writes children’s literature, young adult literature, realistic fiction, comedy, inspirational prose, and poetry. Her love of words and writing was realized at the tender age of three when she read children’s books flipped upside down and “wiggle danced” to Sesame Street. Her inspiration, motivation, and drive to write are fueled by God, expressed through her love of words, and ignited by the desire to share a story.
Ava Blu embraces the importance of being able to think beyond self and see the world past her own fingers and toes. She believes an open mind and heart fuel creativity, adventure, and the ability to speak the truth of the wonder in this wide, wide world. She unearths a unique take on life in regard to people, things, situations, and scenarios, which elevates her work to new levels of detail, discovery, and creative drive.
Ava Blu is a published author and illustrator. Her children's books include; Crunky McBunky, He Said My Name! The Little Sit-Down Boy, Miss Mingle BoBingleeBox, and Boo-Bip-A-Lot Day. She has also published a YA novel, The Why, Oh Why's of Serena Dunson. Her first Christian thriller, The Attic, geared toward more mature readers, is her latest publication.
Her poetry is published in the Best Emerging Poet anthologies published by Z Publishing House for the years 2017, 2018, and 2019.
In addition to being a writer, she is a performing artist skilled in stage and voice-over acting, vocals, percussion instruments, dance, and dance choreography.
Ava Blu resides in Akron, Ohio, where she and her husband Kenneth Wilson Jr., aka Kent Le Mar work their family business, Kent Le Mar Productions, Inc. | BluSkyzz Unlimited.
